Practise Italian

Post by Magnolia » Sat Apr 24, 2010 8:04 am

Hi,

I want to practise my Italian bcos I haven't remembered since I graduated in '07.

I like it but I couldnt find proper time to study so I can do it sometimes.

Please help me, where should I start? Which ways do I follow?

Which books should I use?

Thank you very much!

Well, it depends on how much you remember.

If you remember more than just the basics, I find watching the Italian News on Foxtel (I forget the chanel, one of the news ones) quite good.

Also, if you don't remember quite that much, get onto Google and search up basic italian quizzes and lessons. Here on this site, there are a few good quizzes and I find the lessons here to be really well explained.

Hope I've helped.

No, Chiodo wrote "Let me know if you'd like to practice speaking - I'll pass on the name of a person with whom you can chat on Skype or MSN."

My interpretation...

Se vuoi fare pratica di conversazione
If you want to practice conversation

dimmelo
let me know (literally, "tell me (it)")

ti passo un contatto Skype o MSN
I'll pass you a (my) Skype or MSN contact
