Parole per Parole---Word for word

Post by Roby » Wed Aug 02, 2006 5:33 am

Ciao Tutti

Vorrei proporre un piccolo giochino che ci aiuterá con il vocabolario. Tutto ció che dovete fare é aggiungere o togliere 1 lettera oppure sostituirla con un'altra.

I would like to suggest/ propose a little game that will help us with our English vocabulary. What you do is add or take away a letter or two or replace it with another.

For Example:

RIGHT becomes BRIGHT (luminoso)

Thanks to Artrella for this idea.

I'll begin...

Bright > Fight

fight (quarrel) nm litigio (lotta)
fight (conflict) nm conflitto
fight (struggle) nf lotta (combattimento)
fight (battle) nf battaglia
fight (combat) v combattere
fight (quarrel) v litigare
fight (resist) v resistere (combattere)
