Hi Angela

I've only just seen this post of yours. You may be interested in the following link: http://www.italiansinlondon.co.uk

Whether it will be of benefit to you I can't say, but there's no harm in checking it out.

BTW: Many thanks for your good wishes. And don't worry, just cos I've hit such a venerable age doesn't mean that I'm going to act all doddery!!!

Molto grazie, Roby, for the links. I also, come ladybird unerstand about 1 in 50 words when listening to the radio. When I watch movies, I do a little better (a picture is worth a thousand words). I also can understand certain people better than others, like my wife. But, when I listen to the radio, or watch the news, capisco un ca?@o! They speak so fast.
I will check out those links soon as possible!

I've posted a few resources that I've found, but here you go...

http://librivox.org/le-avventure-di-pin ... c-collodi/

This is Pinocchio in audio book format. The link also includes a link to the full text.

Also, I find YouTube to be a great resource. In the search field, type an Italian word or phrase and see what you get. I recommend typing "Nonna Stella" for a wonderful series of cooking lessons done by an Italian grandmother. Great stuff!

In addition to the movies mentioned here, I'll add Ciao Professore, The Tiger and the Snow, and Life is Beautiful. Watch them over and over.

Look for opportunities to listen while doing other activities. I'm an artist, and I paint while listening to Italian Lessons. Makes double use of my time.
Please correct my Italian! That's what I'm here for.
