vcast - vedere la televisione italiana all'estero!!!

Postby Piadinaro » Thu Sep 27, 2007 4:46 pm

Come mai? Se volete vi provo a dare le istruzioni in inglese...

Piadinaro,

is this perhaps available only in Italy? I tried that link but I get an error message: "The requested URL http://www.vcast.it/ was not found on this server".

I can find it via Google and the only way I can see any of the site content is to view the cached pages.

regards,
Calum

And then only the front page. As with any cache - I believe - any links on the cached page do not work where this problem exists.
A presto

Success!

I tried the link at work this morning and was able to view the entire site and register as a user. The only thing I had to install was Quick Time movie viewer and now I'm watching Melevision.

There must be something wrong with my browser settings at home; I'll investigate that further.

It's more likely that your new IP address is not being recognized as a British one...

Hi Giuseppe,

I don't think so; it's a Government Agency and resolves to a .gov.uk suffix.

Wow! We've to investigate about the reason why some of your PCs can't see that website!

Meanwhile, I use a software to convert the mp4 to mp3, 'cause I don't like watching long videos at (at?) the monitor of my PC.
The software is called "MP4Cam2AVI Easy Converter".

I recommend to you the italian "who wants to be a millionaire", which is broadcasted between 18.50 and 20.00 on Canale5.
Other useful emissions could be the "soap-opera",but I don't think (and hope so) that you like them

Keep me updated!

The site works/worked fine for me in the USA. I've been watching the soap operas during my breaks at work. () I can usually follow until they gave upset and start shouting or talking fast....

I like this site. It's a cool idea.

:o
is it Scotland Yard? Are you a detective? Finally, you found us!

However, I think that the easiest-to-understand programs are those which have the speker on the video ( difficult to say)...so this is the program schedule http://it.tv.yahoo.net/programmi-tv/ter ... efault.asp

Important thing: MTV has plenty of English-spoken programs that are italian-subtitled; I know that are pretty trash or stupid, but they could be a great thing for you, isn't it?

Piadinaro,

I could tell you ... but then I'd have to kill you!

I can now access vcast.it from home so it must have been a temporary problem on the site.

Calum
