Object pronouns.......

Post by Alan Newcastle » Sat Nov 07, 2015 10:38 am

Ciao tutti,

"A te piace il caffè? Si mi piace moltissimo, lo preferisco senza zucchero."

Today's problem, for me, is use of the italian direct object pronoun! And I would appreciate comment on my understanding of the above sentence. Am I correct that 'lo' refers to 'it' with it being the caffè. If yes would the pronoun always come before the verb?

In "A te piace,,," what is the function of "A"?

Ciao.
