Ciao a tutti,
My question is about capitalization in Italian of kinship words that are used as proper nouns. In English if the word brother is used in place of the personal name it is capitalized. Is this the same in Italian? For example, if I were writing a letter to my cousin in Italy would I write Caro Cugino or Caro cugino as my salutation?
Have a question about Italian grammar? Need a quick translation from Italian to English or vice versa? Post it here!
