The servono refers to 'i soldi' which is plural so is conjugated accordingly.TomPalermo wrote:Hi,
I am often coming by the verb phrase 'ti servono' as for example
Se ti servono soldi posso aiutarti
Why is Servire conjugated into the 3rd person plural?
You might also see, for example, "Ti serve un un passaggio?" where someone is offering you a lift, in which case it is conjugated in the singular.
I hope that helps.
