Ciao a tutti,

my name is Sara, I'm italian and I worked as Italian teacher for foreign students in the past.

This kind of forums were very helpful when I was studying English and Spanish, so I hope I can help everybody that like to learn italian!

Hello gatto13!

I've studied English for two years in a British School in Italy (6 hours a week). Then I went to work in Ireland for a while and eventually I got married with an Italian-American, so I always have the chance to practise a lot my English. It's not just studying that helps! Chatting is better! Also I love to wacht movies in original language and that helps a lot, especially for the pronunciation. you have to get use to the sounds of the language you want to learn.

Spanish is easy for an italian mother tongue. There are a lot of similar words and grammatical structures too, so I got fluent in 6 months (but I'm now living in a lot of different Spanish speaking countries, so I have to speak every day, that is always the best way to learn a different language!)
