Hello everyone!

Post by PaulDee »

My wife and I will be working in Italy this winter - it will be our first visit. So we have to learn the language before we go, early next January.

Piece of cake, huh? :D

I did Latin at school, so the verb grammar doesn't look too daunting for me. There's lots of it, though.

I'll be back in the forum soon with some questions, I'm sure. I'll look around first.

See you soon!

Paul.

ciao Paul e benvenuto.

I too did Latin at school, but that was a zillion years ago!! And the teacher was more interested in relating the adventures of his cat!

Anyway, we're here to help if you have any questions. :)

Ciao Paul, welcome over here.
It won't be easy but you can make it. Any problem, just ask and someone will always be here to help.
Where exactly are you moving to in Italy?

Thanks for the warm welcome!

We'll be somewhere around Brindisi. I'm REALLY looking forward to the first winter of my life with no winter :D. I'm English and have spent many years in Poland, so I know all about snow!

I can read Latin, but I'd have to do a bit of revision before writing it again. I've never forgotten "Ad tabernam festinamus".

Cheers!
