Ciao! Buon Giorno

Post by davem2421 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:01 pm

Buon giorno, il mio nome è David di Orlando, Florida. io capisco e paralo un po' di italiano.

My wife and I have been using a program called Fluenz and we love it. Siamo andati in italia due anni ago and we just loved it. A very beautiful country and people. everyone was so friendly that we can't wait to go back again.

I've been learning Italian off and on for a few yrs now and not where I should be with the amount of time we've started learning it (amazing how life gets in the way), however I really want to crack down and get on the ball with becoming fluent. I'm pretty sure I'm going to post some raised eyebrow questions so I hope you call bear with me.

I just stumbled on this website today and look forward to coming here to learn.

ciao ciao grazie mille

Hi David! I'm Luigi and I'm Italian (Naples).

I hope you'll be fine here with us : ) If something about Italian you don't understand, ask us, don't worry : )

solo una precisazione: Buongiorno generalmente si scrive attaccato ; )

I bid you welcome to the forum, Dave. :D

Do not be afraid to ask questions about anything.

It was okay, it is only that for European countries we have several Italian versions of the toponyms.
This is rarely the case with the Americas, however. Nothing to worry. :)
I would be very grateful, if you could please correct my English.
