"Il nostro gruppo ha maturato esperienza nelle seguenti competenze : ...."

Io l'ho tradotto così, ma non mi soddisfa pienamente :

"Our team is especially expertise on the following working areas : .... "

I am not sure about how to translate "maturato" in this context but I would go for something like:

Our group has developed considerable expertise in the following skills (or areas of competency if you like):

Un'altra questione, ma è meglio dire expertise o experience ?
Expertise = competenza
Experience = esperienza
Oppure sono sinonimi ?

Our team has expertise in the following areas:


Expertise means specially skilled in an area.

Experience means practical knowledge or skills in an area.

"Expertise" vuole dire la conoscenza che possiede adesso.

"Experience" vuole dire quella che impara. in other words: it is the PROCESS that eventually allows one to say that they have expertise.

Sono dottore medico. Today, I can say that I have (posess) "expertise" in the practice of Emergency Medicine (pronto soccorso).

But (ma), c'erano molte situazione cio che darmi la esperienza. Adesso, posso dire che ho competenza.

Experience:

Quando si usa come il verbo "to experience", è il processo, come ha detto Dottore No., dove si acquista l'esperienza (experience or expertise)

Expertise:

Non è così semplice come dire che dopo aversi provato (experienced) qualcosa si avrà "expertise", ma certo avrà "experience". Avere il expertise (sì, la competenza) si dev'esser esperto–cioè si deve averci provato abbastanza per dire di esserci esperto.

Dunque...

To have expertise = to be an expert in something
To have experience = to have done something before
