what does "mo" mean in english? I think it might be dialect..

Mo' (expecially in southern Italy but also in some Italian expressions) means "ora, adesso"... "now".
"Mo' vengo" --> I'm coming.
In general it gives the idea of time ("da mo" = "from a lot of time").
Probably it comes from Latin. "Mox" = soon, now... "modo" = now.
In other places is can mean "ma".
In my dialect for example: "en è blin, MO è gignal" --> he's not handsome but he's pleasing"
