More than in Italian, but less than in German!
Peoples names are always capitalised, and the days of the week and month are too.
The names of countries always have capitals, and so do the adjectives that describe nationality. (I am English, you are Italian)
The Queen, the Pope, the Prime Minister and suchlike all get capitals.
The titles of songs, books, films etc. capitalise every word except the very short ones. For example,
"Lord of the Rings" , "Ghost Riders in the Sky".
Sometimes other words may be capitalised, if they are used to mean that they are the name of something.
Per essempio, "Quando lavoravo era professore della tecnologia della musica."
In English, that would be:=
"When I was working, I was a lecturer in Music Technology". Music Technology is the name of the course, so it gets capitals.
Spero che questo te aiuta.
Ciao,
Dave
