New from Australia

Post by Luca88 »

Ciao, new member to Impariamo and new to the Italian language. :)
I'm Luke (or Luca). I'm 18 years old, male and live on the Gold Coast of Australia. I have a beautiful Italian girlfriend. I'm new to Italiano so do correct me If I make any mistakes.

Grazie.

Ciao, amici. :)

So far I have:

Benvenuto: Welcome
Benvenuto anche da me: Welcome also from me
e benvenuto al forum: and welcome to the forum.

So I could say to others:
Ciao amico e benvenuto al forum.

Corretto?
Benvenuto alla mia sede.

What is... Bacheca?

Corretto?
Grazie per il vostro aiuto.

Ciao Luca e benvenuto anche da parte mia.

"Ciao amico e benvenuto al forum" is correct. "Benvenuto alla mia sede" sounds odd as "sede" means "headquarters". Maybe you meant "sito" (website")?

As for "bacheca" it means "noticeboard".

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Ciao e benvenuto Luca anche da parte mia :)

You certainly can say ciao amico e benvenuto al forum if it's a male you're saying "hi" to, don't forget it changes to "amica" e "benvenuta" if the person is female.

But I guess you probably know this already? :)

A proposito, "bacheca" vuol dire" "bulletin/notice board".
Ho chiesto la stessa domanda di recente!

EDIT=I didn't see you there Carlo :)
