Quella è la luna

Hi!

I have a question regarding the line in the subject field, "quella è la luna". Would this be the appropriate way to put something along the lines of "that's the nature of the moon"/"that's the moon" (as an equivalence to "that's life"/"c'est la vie")?

Actually it's interesting that we usually use "questo" where "that" is used in English in sentences like "that's life" (questa è la vita) and "that's politics" (questa è la politica). So yes, I guess you could say "questa è la luna" after, for example, giving a description of the moon.
