MI permetto di suggerirti alcuni titoli:

"I soliti ignoti"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052216/

"fantasmi a Roma"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054867/

Dato che ho i parenti nella Bassa Parmense, precisamente in quel di Roccabianca, non posso esimermi dal consigliarti anche la serie di film tratti dai libri di Guareschi
( http://www.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=Don+Camillo&x=0&y=0
solo le voci "exact match" e "partial match")

"Mediterraneo"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102426/

Se me ne vengono in mente altri li aggiungo :)

Il mio film preferito italiano...

"Il Conformista" (1970)
"Pane e tulipani" (2000)
"Amacord' (1973)

Non la mia preferita, ma interessante....

"Heaven" (2002) Italian/English, with Cate Blanchette.

Ciao, Phil.

Ci sono tanti film che mi piacciono. Ecco una piccola lista:

Cinema Paradiso
Le notte di Cabiria
Johnny Stecchino
Vaniglia e Cioccolato
Agata e la Tempesta
Pane e Tuplipani
Il Postino
Amacord

Claudietto

I am learning English every day, so could you help me by correcting (In private, if you want) anything I have written incorrectly.

Gomorra di Matteo Garrone

Post by Alex V. » Sat Jan 24, 2009 11:34 am

The film Gomorra, from last year, by director Matteo Garrone, won the Cannes Festival.

No good for learning Italian unfortunately because it is in difficult to understand dialect from Napoli. You will however appreciate the melodic singing tone of the language.

Part of the recent revival of Italian cinema and a stand-alone cinematographic form between a documentary and a traditional movie plot.

Beautifully filmed so go see it if your local art cinema shows it instead of on the small screen. Very moving how it exposes the rotten corrupt world of the Mafia infested neighbourhoods and how it destroys the dreams of families and the kids growing up there. ù

The film is based on the book by journalist Roberto Saviano, that created a storm when published and is now in hiding and under protection because of threaths from the Mafia.
