Hi everyone, I've just started learning Italian through a few websites but don't seem to be getting very far, hopefully here can help.

Hi there, nice to have someone else from England here - there are a few of us.
I am not sure that trying to learn just through websites is the best way. For sure there is a huge resource on the web, but a good hardcopy grammar book or a course like Buongiorno Italia (the BBC's original Italian course - you should find it in your local Waterstones or whatever large bookshop you have in your area).
Saying that, we are here to help. There are plenty of Italians who are only to happy to do so, and some of us non-italians have a pretty good grip on the language to be able to help.
