The last time I was in Italy, I was watching a program on TV. There was a man going around interviewing people in the markets about prices of things which I guess there was some kind of controversy because if you go in the morning, the prices were higher than say if you went in the late afternoon.
Anyway, the announcer interviewed a shopper, and after he was done with hher, he said to her, "ArrivederLa," and then went on to interview others -- which surprised me since I had only ever seen it in books and never heard it used.
