My name is Victoria and I am planning to buy a home in Italy within the next few years. I am looking to speak fluent Italian before I make the big move. Anyone patient enough to communicate with me and help will be much appreciated! I feel like I would learn best through conversation.

Hi Victoria, sorry not to have replied sooner.

So, you are looking to buy property in Italy. Good luck with that - I assume you have looked into everything that goes with such a venture or have someone you know who has been down that route and can advise. If you take the Italia magazine, you'll find plenty of advice there.

It's a good plan to learn Italian before embarking on your adventure. How are you learning at the moment? Self-teaching or are you attending evening classes? There are plenty of resources online, including dictionaries and verb conjugators.

As the Italians say - in bocca al lupo (Good luck)
